For over 30 years, Addison and Hooke's dream of the perfect ad has eluded them.... Until, thanks to a wrong turn on their way to study the mystical properties of alligator teeth at a remote Everglades campground, they discovered a creative and scientific nirvana in Orlando. The Orlando Science Center gave Addison and Hooke the perfect venue to combine their love of science and advertising under one roof. This fortuitous chain of events led to a partnership agreement with the Science Center to create Addison, Hooke and Winston's new world headquarters in Orlando. With the nearly 12-month relocation process complete, Addison, Hooke and Winston is opening its doors to the local advertising industry as a gesture of friendship and cooperation.
Celebrating the Creative (and Scientific) Spirit of Advertising
Never content with small gestures, Mr. Addison will also be honoring many of his new competitors in the local market with an awards gala during the open house. Dubbed the "ADDYs," these awards will recognize some of the creative excellence he has discovered in the Orlando market during 2009 as the partnership with Orlando Science Center progressed.
Mr. Addison also asked a few friends from his travels to join him in Orlando to help in pick the winners. This year's judges were:
